Supported repository types include MS Access (default repository), Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Typically Visual Importer Enterprise is used to download files from an FTP server, load them into the database, run stored procedure or SQL script and send email to the admin, once the package is completed. Unlike Oracle SQL loader, BCP, DTS or SSIS, Visual Importer Enterprise can also add new and update old records based on the primary key.
